The tree, pot and saucer remain the property of London Christmas Tree Rental throughout the term of rental.
We will bring the trees to the designated hubs for your collection during our advertised hours.
A customer is responsible for taking the tree home and returning in January, failing to return the tree and saucer will result in the deposit being kept by London Christmas Tree Rental.
Our hubs are only open for the advertised hours, if customers are unavailable to attend a customer will need to make arrangements to collect from us at a suitable time when an alternative hub is open. No refund is given for non collection.
Once you take the tree home we take that as acceptance of the product.
If you want to cancel your order then you must notify us by emailing in at info@londonchristmastreerental.com at least 48 hours before 0001 on the scheduled delivery date. We will then be able to issue a full refund minus our associated admin costs, If you cancel within the 48 hour window we will refund minus 75% of the cost. If these requirements are not adhered to then we will not be able to refund as this affects delivery arrangements and organisation.
Your Christmas tree will be delivered to and collected from your doorstep. We would love to help you carry it indoors/outdoors but to maintain distance we just cant do this. Please ensure you have someone to help you if necessary. We are unable to carry the Christmas tree up/down flights of stairs (i.e. in blocks of flats), so please ensure you have someone to help you if necessary as they are heavy.
If your tree is being collected by us then all decorations must be removed prior to collection of the tree.
The hirer must follow the care instructions or the customer risks losing their deposit.
The hirer must NOT use artificial snow/flock/glitter sprays. These contain chemicals, will seriously damage the tree and we will need to recover the cost from the hirer.
If any damage is caused to the tree, or if the care instructions are not followed, we reserve the right to keep the deposit.
If you fail to return a tree or its dead you agree to pay £100 to cover loss of stock, loss of revenue for future years and for purchase of new stock
Trees cannot be refunded or returned, except in accordance with your legal rights, for example in the event they are faulty or damaged.
The cancellation right under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 does not apply to plants.
The trees are living so may have their own quirk of shape, you cannot return a tree if you do not like its shape.
The trees should all be happy and healthy, if you feel your tree is not we advise you to let us know as soon as possible. If you contact us within 48 hours with a detailed explanation and provide photos as required of the issue we will endeavour to replace the tree at the next available delivery slot if we feel it’s necessary.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we treat any data you provide us.
We will refund the deposit once you notify us you do not wish to rollover the tree to next year, and the tree and saucer has been returned in a good condition and checked at the receiving farm.
If the saucer is not returned or is returned broken we will charge £5 for a replacement.
For rollover clients. We anticipate that your tree will naturally grow into the next height bracket in each year. Typically, this would mean an increase to the next price band. However, for 2024 we will offer a 50% discount on the growth charge.
