London Christmas Tree Rental - Terms & Conditions
All trees, pots, and saucers remain the property of London Christmas Tree Rental (LCTR) at all times during the rental period.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to:
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for returning the tree to LCTR.
If a tree is returned late, LCTR reserves the right to retain the customer’s deposit, even if the tree is eventually returned.
If a tree is not returned:
Customers who roll over their tree year to year will be notified in advance of general stock release and given the opportunity to book.
If a rollover customer does not book or make contact during that season, LCTR reserves the right to retain the deposit to cover business costs, including (but not limited to) maintenance, storage, and transportation.
To cancel an order, customers must email info@londonchristmastreerental.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.
If your tree is being delivered or collected by LCTR, all decorations must be removed prior to collection.
Customers must follow the provided care instructions. These instructions form part of these Terms & Conditions.
Customers must not use artificial snow, flocking, glitter sprays, or similar products.
These products contain chemicals that can seriously damage the tree. Any resulting damage will be chargeable to the customer.
If the tree is damaged, or if care instructions are not followed, LCTR reserves the right to retain the deposit.
Our trees are living plants and naturally vary in shape and appearance.
Trees cannot be returned or refunded simply because the customer does not like the shape or appearance.
Trees cannot be refunded or returned except in accordance with your statutory rights, for example if the tree is faulty or damaged.
The right to cancel under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 does not apply to living plants.
Trees selected by a customer and taken home, then later rejected due to preference, do not qualify for a refund.
All trees are supplied healthy and in good condition.
If you believe your tree is not healthy, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with a detailed explanation. Where appropriate, and at our discretion, we will endeavour to replace the tree.
